Users rave about its ease of use and professional finish!

Instructions for Use: Follow these steps for best results. Always work in a well-ventilated area, wear appropriate PPE (respirator, gloves, eye protection), and test on a small area first. Ensure surface is clean, dry, and free of contaminants like wax, grease, or silicone.

  1. Surface Preparation:
    • For spot repairs: Scuff sand the area where the sealer will be applied using 320-400 grit sandpaper or a fine scuff pad to promote adhesion.
    • For overall refinishing: Scuff sand the entire surface with 320 grit sandpaper or a fine scuff pad.
    • Clean the surface thoroughly with a wax and grease remover, then wipe dry with a lint-free cloth. For bare metal, ensure it's properly treated or primed first (this sealer provides excellent adhesion to treated metals).
  2. Mixing Directions:
    • This is a 1K product – ready to spray as is! No mixing, thinning, or activators required. Shake the can well before use. Mixing ratio: 1 part sealer (straight from the container).
  3. Application:
    • Use a spray gun with a 1.4-1.8 mm tip (HVLP recommended for best results).
    • Adjust air pressure at the gun to 30-45 psi for siphon feed guns. For small jobs or to minimize overspray, use lower pressure (around 20-30 psi).
    • Hold the gun 8-12 inches from the surface.
    • Apply 1-2 medium wet coats as needed to achieve uniform color and coverage. Allow 5-15 minutes flash time between coats.
    • For optimal results, apply one to two single wet coats. Avoid heavy application to prevent runs or excessive build-up.
  4. Drying Times (at 70°F / 21°C and 50% humidity):
    • Flash time between coats: 5-15 minutes.
    • Time to topcoat: 30-60 minutes.
    • If waiting longer than 12 hours, scuff sand the sealer lightly before applying topcoat.
    • Note: Drying times can be affected by film thickness, temperature, humidity, and air movement. Thicker films, cooler temps, or poor ventilation will extend dry times. Full cure may take up to 24 hours.
  5. Topcoating:
    • Can be topcoated with basecoats, lacquers, enamels, or urethanes. For best adhesion, apply topcoat within the recommended window.

Storage & Safety: Store in a cool, dry place away from heat or open flames. Shelf life: Up to 2 years unopened. Dispose of according to local regulations. Not for household use – automotive applications only. Read the full TDS (Technical Data Sheet) for detailed specs.
