Surface Preparation:
Ensure basecoat is fully cured (minimum 30-60 minutes, but ideally overnight for maximum adhesion).
Lightly scuff the basecoat with 600-1000 grit sandpaper or a tack cloth to promote adhesion.
Clean with a tack cloth to remove all dust and debris.
Mask off surrounding areas to prevent overspray.
Mixing:
Pour clear coat into a clean mixing container.
Add the included medium hardener according to the ratio on the label (typically 4:1 clear to hardener by volume).
Stir thoroughly for 2-3 minutes, scraping sides and bottom. Do not shake to avoid air bubbles.
Allow 5-10 minutes for bubbles to settle before straining through a filter.
Application:

Apply 2-3 medium, even coats with 10-15 minutes flash time between coats.

Ideal temperature: 70-80°F (21-27°C) with 40-60% humidity.
Avoid heavy coats—multiple light coats ensure better clarity and fewer defects.
Dry Time & Cure:
Tack-free: 30-60 minutes (varies by temperature and humidity).
Hard-dry: 2-4 hours.
Ready for light sanding: 4-8 hours.
Full cure (maximum hardness): 24-48 hours. Do not wash, wax, or expose to harsh conditions until fully cured.
Finishing:
Once fully cured, wet-sand with 1500-2000 grit sandpaper if a perfect finish is desired.
